Information Management Services
Plan to use Click4Care’s innovative care management technology to enhance
care coordination and communication with physicians and patients
Powell, Ohio, March 4, 2011 - The Ohio State University Health
Plan, Inc. announced today that it has selected Click4Care™‘s care management technology
to streamline its service operations into a single, integrated system. Click4Care’s
technology will allow OSU Health Plan to coordinate care and communication among
its care managers, physicians and members and to seamlessly integrate health coaching,
disease management, employee assistance services, medication therapy management,
and wellness programming.
After an extensive search, Click4Care’s member-centric care management approach
was selected because it best aligned with and supported OSU Health Plan’s mission
to care for members holistically across the health care continuum.
“This partnership will help us better serve our members by streamlining access to
information and helping them stay healthier,” said OSU Health Plan CEO Scott Streator.
“The partnership will enable us to build a solid foundation to support our long-term
health care vision and integrate our operations both within our organization and
with external partners.”
Click4Care’s care management software suite allows payors to aggregate critical
patient information to identify members who would benefit most from active care
management. The software’s robust functionality offers health plans, health insurers
and third party administrators the only fully integrated view of all member activity
across utilization management, disease management, case management, and health and
wellness management. Supported by an agile architecture, the platform’s unrivaled
configurability can quickly and easily accommodate each payor's unique workflows,
policies and business processes.
”We are pleased that OSU Health Plan has chosen us and look forward to helping them
enhance quality and safety of care for their members through workflow automation,
